What is it?
The bar-coding and production analysis module provides you with pertinent information
about your orders including Who, What, When, and Where. It then uses that information
to provide you with reports to improve your productivity.
Production Department Benefits
Updating the status of an order- The process of updating the status
of an order is simplified tremendously.

Utilizing the bar-code technology, employees are more likely to update the order
status as it progresses through the shop.

You can update the location of an order for each line item individually or as a
whole order.
- When you start or stop working on an order or line item, simply scan the bar-code
on the work order, your employee number, the department, and what you are doing.
No keyboard entry required.
Complete Order Status History- Unlike the Work-in-Process module that
only shows the current location of an order, the Bar-Code module provides you with
a complete history of where the job started and how it progressed through the production
process.

Detailed Order status grid on the Order Status/Invoicing screen displays the Location/Department,
Completion Date/Status, Elapsed Time and Actual Time.

The Elapsed and Actual time can be viewed in Days, Hours, or Minutes

Quickly displays which location/department the order and/or line items are currently
in.
- Quickly displays the complete history of where the order and/or line items were
in each step of the order process.
Management Reports
Order/Time Tracking- You can track as an entire order or individual
line-items

Analysis report shows time spent working on order.

Analysis report shows elapsed time after an order was delivered to a department
and prior to the order being worked on.
- If an order is late, you can quickly see where the process broke down. Perhaps there
was a delay in prepress or perhaps the order waited a week in proof because the
customer did not sign off on the order. This module takes the guesswork out of late
orders.
Department/Employee/Time Tracking - Production Analysis reports can
be run by Location/Department, Employee, or Order.
- Quickly check the status, backlog, and productivity of a department or employee.
Employee Contribution Report

Calculates the production employee's contribution for each job based on revenue.

Can be used as a tool to implement incentive programs.
- Provides management with precise data on the productivity of each production employee.
